I think you're mixing your time frames. Americans brought homosexuality.

Don't believe it? Sure, there may have been gay people before America was created, but it's pretty hard to be open about your homosexual intentions when you've got a dictator breathing down your neck. And you may question, "But Demo, aren't only certain cultures under control by a dictator? Therefore, some region must have had open sexuality before America."

Oh by the way, I'm not anti-gay. It's just 1:20 AM and I was testing my computer's operating power and just decided to check this one last time and ended up posting this. If any of you are gay...Well, I won't apologize, because it's technically true, but I do apologize for any misleading comments about the influences of gays on the destruction of an entire civilization.

Actually Romans were very openly homosexual. They even appreciated homosexuals merely because they saw men as a greater being than woman. So if man loved man that's one manly man!

EDIT: In addition, the US has been around for over 300 years (as an official entity, that is). At the rate that we are expending our resources and embracing homosexuality, we could be gone before the next 50. The Romans lasted so long because they didn't have an incredibly complex infrastructure like we do, which created a slightly more simplistic society and, therefore, much more tolerant of such actions.
