so.. my other computer had just "died".. or the fan is busted agian.. ill check it out later.. but for now.. on this computer:

yea it has sound.. but the sound bar moves down on it's own to the bottem... anyone know how to fix it?

****and what should i call a friend who's stealing nearly everything from my grasp??? (something new plz)

Well I'm guessing you set some setting in Control Panel that makes the volume stay at a constant volume...or you can blame it on Vista if you have it.
